"The Internet is a shared resource and securing it is our responsibility."This is the motto for the National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM) campaign which is conducted every October. This year marks the eighth annual public awareness campaign to encourage everyone to take action towards protecting their information and the computers where it resides. Our shared responsibility means each of us must do our part—whether it’s using stronger security practices in our day-to-day online activities or helping raise community awareness, we can all contribute towards this common goal.
Texas State is supporting this campaign by encouraging participation in our own campus activities to increase security awareness and promote safe computing within our community.
