Biography
Dean began his computing career in 1987, converting paper-based accounting systems to computerized systems for the optical industry. He then segued into designing computer inventory systems for small and mid-size companies.

Brad Jensen, Senior Academic Relationship Manage, Microsoft Corporation
Biography
Bradley K. Jensen received his Ph.D. in Business Computer Information Systems from the University of North Texas (UNT), with majors in Business Computer Information Systems and Computer Science.
He is a Microsoft Corporation Senior Academic Relationship Manager responsible for Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Prior to Microsoft, he was an Assistant Professor in Information Technology and Decision Sciences and Assistant Director of the Information Systems Research Center at UNT, and was also President of JMC Consulting Services, an executive management consulting firm which provides strategic and tactical IT consulting services.
His research interests include privacy and security, networking, human factors, e-commerce, and document management. Dr. Jensen has been an executive and consultant with more than 20 years of sales, marketing, and IT experience with several Fortune 100 companies.

Detective Joel K. Pridgeon, Austin Police Department, Child Abuse/ Child Exploitation Unit
Biography
Detective Pridgeon has been employed by the Austin Police Department since June of 1996. Det. Pridgeon is currently assigned to the APD Child Abuse / Child Exploitation Unit. The Child Abuse Unit investigates physical abuse and neglect cases involving children, the elderly, and the disabled, as well as all sexual offenses involving children under the age of 17. Since 2005, Det. Pridgeon has specialized in cases of child pornography and suspects who exploit children via the Internet and other media under the Child Exploitation Unit.
Along with his investigative duties, Det. Pridgeon teaches child abuse investigations to the cadets at the APD Academy, provides outside presentations and courses involving child abuse to private and public agencies, community groups and schools, and conducts UV photography sessions for special injury cases.

Garry White, Ph.D., Texas State University, Department of CIS
Biography
Garry L. White is an Assistant Professor in the Computer Information Systems department at Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
He holds a MS in Computer Sciences from Texas A & M University – Corpus Christi and a PhD in Information Systems Education, from The University of Texas at Austin. The Institute of Certified Computer Professionals (ICCP) certified him in Information Technology Management, Systems Development, Business Information Systems, and Security Systems. Other industry certifications include Novell Certified Engineer, Cisco Certified Network Associate, and Network+. He has been on the Texas State University faculty since 1997.
His research interests are in the areas of privacy, system security, and international issues. He has published papers in academic journals such as the Journal of Computer Information Systems, Journal of Information Systems Education, International Journal of Technology & Human Interaction, Journal of Global Information Management, Journal of Information Technology & Management, and the Journal of International Technology & Information Management.
