This year Cyber Security Awareness Day was a great success! Over 800 participants attended the event, including Texas State students, staff and faculty as well as community members; students and teachers from local and neighboring high schools.
We thank everyone who was part of the Cyber Security Awareness Day and hope to see you all again next year.
Texas State University-San Marcos provides an annual conference on methods and practices for safe computing and information security. Our audience is diverse in their knowledge of computing including everyone from experts in the field to the novice who wants to learn more on how to keep their computer and sensitive information more secure. The conference was held on October 14, 2009, from 10 am to 3 pm at the LBJ Student Center Ballroom.
